5. BMW Brilliance Tiexi Plant is located in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Liaoning Province, covering an area of 2.07 square kilometers. It is the production place of the domestic BMW X1 and 3 series. It is the 25th factory of the BMW Group in the world and the latest one. The total investment of the Tiexi plant is as high as 1.5 billion euros, and the operation is carried out by means of unified planning and phased construction. 1. Exhaust gas: Welding fume is treated by various welding fume collection and purification devices; paint mist and organic waste gas generated in paint room and varnish room are introduced into 40-meter-high exhaust gas through lime powder dry filter system + KPR activated carbon turntable system pipeline The exhaust gas from the welding seam sealant drying furnace is directly burned by natural gas, and the exhaust gas from electrophoresis, glue spray drying, color paint, and varnish drying is discharged after being treated by the direct combustion method; the exhaust gas from the paint repair station is adsorbed by filter cotton. After the paint mist is discharged from the factory’s air outlet.
2. Waste water: The waste water treatment station of the painting workshop adopts flocculation air flotation + sand filtration secondary physicochemical treatment. The waste water containing nickel (a pollutant) in the workshop is coagulated and precipitated to remove phosphate, total nickel, total zinc and fluorine in the waste water. The total nickel exported from the chemical realization workshop meets the limit requirements of “the maximum discharge concentration of the first type of pollutants” in Table 1 of the “Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard” (GB8978-1996). The effluent from the domestic sewage and coating wastewater station enters the comprehensive sewage treatment station. The water quality of the discharge meets the requirements of Table 2 in the “Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard of Liaoning Province” (DB21/1627-2008), and enters the Western Shenyang Sewage Treatment Plant through the sewage pipe network of the development zone. It is further processed and finally discharged into the fine river. The domestic sewage from the engine workshop is discharged into the Western Urban Sewage Plant.
3. Solid waste: comprehensive utilization of stamping waste and waste packaging materials for export. Hazardous wastes shall be collected, processed and disposed of by units qualified for hazardous waste treatment.
4. Noise: adopt low-noise equipment, set up vibration reduction and noise reduction measures, and the prediction results of noise at the field boundary and workshop boundary meet the requirements of noise emission standards.
5. Groundwater: The plant area adopts partition anti-seepage, and the oil depot, sewage treatment station, painting workshop, chemical storage warehouse, hazardous waste temporary storage warehouse and accident pool and other key prevention and control areas take strict anti-corrosion and anti-seepage measures.
6. Opinions from relevant departments: The General Office of the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government approved the “Notice of the General Office of the Shenyang Municipal People’s Government on Printing and Distributing the Remediation Plan for the Sustained and Stable Remediation of the Xihe River in Shenyang”, and the Shenyang Development and Reform Commission approved the “About Shenyang Western Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion Project” Approval of the Proposal”.
